Fantastische Fahrt! Hier ist mein Reisebericht: https://www.ducati.ms/forums/22-travel-gps-chat-ride-tales/717421-weekend-b500-kicked-ass.html

Cheers from the US. I apologize for the Google Translate posts (likely making me sound like an idiot). My ability to speak and write German is limited. I've registered on multistrada.eu primarily in an attempt to locate the person who is selling a 3d printed part to cover a hole in our single sided swingarm (image attached - which is where I found your website).

I am very active on the US http://www.ducati.ms forum and have owned a 2015 DVT Multistrada S for 3.5 years and 75,000km. I also frequently travel to Germany and rent motorcycles when I have time available. In October I was in Kaiserslautern for 3 weeks and spent one weekend riding to Switzerland on the B500. Fantastic ride! Here is my trip report: https://www.ducati.ms/forums/22-travel-gps-chat-ride-tales/717421-weekend-b500-kicked-ass.html

Hy Dave,

great, welcome! The nationalities are becoming more and more and now the USA.

Welcome and feel good  ;) :)

Hello Dave

Welcome to the European forum.
I hope you get the desired parts. Although, I haven't come across this before - not in this network.

I used to ride in SoCal whenever I had to travel to SF for business. Unfortunately, my new job doesn't get me there no more.

Hi Dave,
I suggest you stick to English, there are plenty of people having a decent command of English. Google Translate is either funny or misleading. I hope that the folks around here can help and likewise I bet that some would be happy to get your advise when it comes to travelling to the US.
Cheers
Richard

DaveK:
Thanks for the welcome... I realize Google translate is still pretty bad, though it does generally allow me to understand the basics of a discussion thread for European languages (forget about Chinese or Japanese). I've already gotten the name of the person who made the parts which is great.

Southern California has some of the best riding in the US... though for me it's nearly as far away as Germany is (6 hour vs. 8 hour flight). I've been to the West Coast of the US several times on motorcycles (it's roughly a week to get out there at 700-800 kms/day).
